Problem is, they are simply good at most any things, including economy or navy (despite having the absolute best fire ship in the game), but it is difficult to come up with an offensive strategy for them. This also means they are more like on the reacting side instead of being on the offence.

You just usually see what the enemy has, build the counters for them, and try to adapt faster to their strategies than they can. Their structures are sturdy, promoting tower rushes, including early ones or late bombard tower forests. Their unique unit is expensive as hell, but it is still probably the best heavy cavalry unit in the game thanks to its trample damage, speed, and large anti-anticavalry armour. They have decent/good, but mostly cheap camels for anti-cavalry. They have the best trash spam thanks to their cheap skirms and spear line.
